THE BOAT: A Wauquiez 47PS sailing boat (see also the Wauquies website: http://www.wauquiez.com/en/pilot-saloon/pilot-saloon-47) This is the 3 cabin version in which the fore (2 person double bed) and side (1 person) cabins are available for crew.

The boat is fully equiped with: 100 HP Yanmar engine, 10HP Generator, 10HP Bowthruster, All electric winches and Remote controll electric anchor winch, All new NORTH sails, e.g. In-mast furling mainsail, Furling headsail, Storm jib, and Genaker, 1400 AMP batteries, 720 ltr diesel tanks, 600 ltr water tanks, Back-up Watermaker (makes 100 ltr per hour), AC, Heating, Washer/Dryer, Radio/DVD with outside speakers, flatscreens TV's in the saloon and the forward 2 birth cabin, 2 fully equiped bathrooms where the forward bathroom, with seperate shower cubicle, is exclusively available to the crew members, outside shower, swimming platform/ladder, passarelle, Bimini/sprayhood, All required navigational equipment (Raymarine), Radar, AIS, Plotter, GPS, Log, Marifoon, Navtex, etc etc. All required safety equipment (liferaft, safety harness, life jackets, flares, back-up sea charts, back-up GPS, etc etc). The galley is fully equiped with a Microwave, 3 burner Electric stove with oven, freezer, fridge, garbage compacter and in-sinkerator. A 4/6 person dinghy with 2.5HP outboard motor. Outside barbecue and fishing gear. E-Mail connectivity is available (connection costs will be the at the expence of the person making the connection). The boat is registerd in Croatia, carries a full International accredited insurance coverage however as this is an at-will program each partcipant will be required to carry their own insurance coverage.
