From Las Palmas, Canary Islands to Bridgetown, Barbados.

January 2018 to February 2018.

This journey starts from Las Palmas on January 7th 2018. From the Canary Islands we will first sail south to the Cape Verde Islands - and after a stop there continue over to Barbados. We are a group of about 15 sailing boats crossing the Atlantic. *** Passage 1 - Las Palmas, Canary Islands to Mindelo, Cape Verde Islands about 7 Days of Ocean Sailing with a total of 866 nm logged *** Passage 2 - Mindelo, Cape Verde Islands to Bridgetown, Barbados about 17 Days of Ocean Sailing with a total of 2018 nm logged *** TANGAROA is a very well equipped Bluewater cruising yacht. Both crew spaces available have their own cabin with double bed and ensuite basin. The head/shower is shared in between the 2 crew cabins. All safety equipment is available onboard. *** The crew charge of €150 per day includes: private cabin, food, drinks, fuel, harbor fees, use of fishing equipment, snorkeling equipment, kayaks and dinghy with outboard engine, safety equipment aboard.

Crew roles: We are Mark (45) and Jonna (28) with our dog Donna (5). We are planning for a most sustainable life aboard TANGAROA and invite you to join us on this sailing adventure. *** We’ll share most of the roles equally. Everything from shifts at the helm, navigating, keeping watch, to cleaning, cooking, fishing and so on. *** We have a dog onboard. You can’t be allergic! *** We expect our crew to be respectful to the ocean and with each other.

Money: daily contribution from crew $150
