Description

She is a heavily built beautiful creature! She was designed for blue water sailing back in the late 60s by John Alden, so is very well thought out and has an extremely sea-kindly motion in heavier seas, where she is very at home. The rig is compact and as a ketch her sails are small and many which makes for easier handling. We have now refit her to modern standards, including re-rigging, electronics, rudder overhaul, safety equipment, and shaken her down so far over 3800 miles.
