Colin Wilson-Pears wants 4 crew for SV Safire, Fountaine Pajot Saba 50, 15m.
From Barcelona, Spain to , Saint Lucia.
October 2017 to December 2017.
Leaving Barcelona Port (Spain) late October 2017 after her debut at the Barcelona boat show, SV Safire will first transit to the Canary Islands, then Cape Verde and then across the Atlantic to the Caribbean, most likely St Lucia (final destination TBC). We are a young (ish) retired professional couple having sold our business and home to spend the next 5 or more year cruising around the world. Just the two of use and out 4 legged cat. We are pretty easy going to consider ourselves to be well organised and competent. We seek likeminded, relaxed but competent people to share in our experience in this ocean crossing.

Crew roles: We are flexible and can take crew from Barcelona to the canaries and then onward to the Caribbean. Just et us know what suites you. We seek 2 watch leaders with a minimum of RYA Coastal skipper (or USCG equivalent) qualifications who can demonstrate sound sailing experience and can clearly show competency for solo night watches. In unfavourable conditions all watches shall have 2 people as a minimum. Ideally, other crew shall have RYA day skipper and a keen desire to learn as you go, if experience is limited. All crew must be happy to be involved in all aspects of boat life from cooking to cleaning and have a bright and positive outlook. We ask only a small contribution based on a 21 day passage and covers all food, fuel, marina fees, etc. Please provide a resume/cv.
