Simon Ridley wants 3 crew for Gertha 4, Hanse 370, 11m.

From rodney bay, Saint Lucia to auckland, New Zealand.

January 2018 to July 2018.

Gertha and i have sailed plenty together. 2018 will be the Pacific, best to check world cruising for where the world ARC goes, plan is to drop south to New Zealand, or no other reason than I was there 40 years ago and want to go back. This is part of a total trip UK to NZ, am looking for crew for total trip; for convenience am breaking trip into parts whilst looking for crew.

Crew roles: Open minded on crew, what can you bring. My Skipper style is take it as it comes, and make it up on the hoof. I know boat inside out and what she can do, so sail accordingly. I am no good at precise times and debriefs , I am not going to change. If you want precise orders and dictator style leadership this is the wrong boat. Sailing off shore is more about getting on together and a comen goal plus getting there safely, whilst eating well and using engine as little as possible.
