[ Full ] British Virgin Islands to the Azores Virgin Islands - British to Portugal ref 6475

Jasper Buxton wants 2 crew for Brise, Beneteau Oceanis 40, 12m.

From Road Town, Virgin Islands - British to Horta, Azores, Portugal.

May 2016 to June 2016.

This is an opportunity to sail over 2000 nautical miles from the BVI to the Azores, departing in early May. It is a qualifying passage for the RYA Yacht Master programme, and is ideal for anyone looking to build up their miles. The yacht will be sailing onto the UK so there is the possibility of crewing on this leg as well. The boat is well equipped from ea safety point of view and we will look to sail in company. I am an RYA Yacht Master Ocean with over 10,000 miles behind me, and we will use Astro-navigation as a back up for GPS. In terms of crew, a positive attitude and good team spirit are essential. Sailing experience would be a bonus but is not essential, as training will be given as necessary.
