[ Full ] Caribbean crew Jan-May Grenada to Grenada ref 6008
Simon Conroy wants 2 crew for Ripples II, Lagoon 450, 14m.
From St Georges, Grenada to St Georges, Grenada.
January 2016 to May 2016.
4 months cruising the Caribbean between Grenada and BVIs at a nice leisurely pace. I need an extra deckhand or couple to help out with standing watch, docking, swabbing the decks, cooking, cleaning and general boat duties. You'll need to be able to handle lines, know some basic sailing stuff, tie knots, handle a Rib and diving would be a bonus. It's a private family boat so you'll join my wife, son and I. We are quiet, cautious people, it's not a party boat, though we enjoy a drink in the evening and there'll usually be music playing. We like a relaxed atmosphere and a clean and tidy boat. We enjoy scuba diving, strolling around the local shops and lazing on the boat reading or sunbathing. We're not too bothered about the sailing bit, it's more a way of getting to the next spot. We therefore tend to motorsail most of the time and avoid heavy weather and big seas. I'm very safety concious, eg lifejackets all have personal automatic AIS beacons.
