[ Archived ] Christmas and New Year’s Eve in southern Caribbean Saint Lucia to Martinique ref 5841

Panos Kontogiannis wants 2 crew for S/V Cookelu meu, Tayana 37, 1978 , 11m.

From Rodney bay, Saint Lucia to Any, Martinique.

December 2015 to January 2016.

Cookelu meu, a Tayana37 ocean cruiser, and its owner captain (me) a 61 year old retired engineer and keen sailor will stay in the Caribbean over the winter after finishing the ARC+. We are looking for company to explore these beautyfull islands and share experiences, fun and expenses. No previous sailing experience is required since I usually sail singlehanded. Of course immunity to sea sickness and some previous experience with boats will make the trip more enjoyable. The itinerary includes St.Vincent, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Cays, Union island, Carriacou and Grenada. Then we will sail north back to St. Lucia and Martinique. The voyage will last for about a month starting around December 10. We will try to avoid costly marinas and we will normally eat in the boat. We will share work and costs. There is a fixed contribution of 10US$ per day per person to cover maintenance, insurance and diesel and we share equally food and beverage, country registration and marina and mooring costs. PS: I'm not a very good cook so some cooking experience is heartily welcomed.
