Bounty is a full keeled heavy cruiser, ketch rigged, built in Cornwall, England to Lloyd's +100A1 Certification standards. She was used by National Geographic for a 1986 expedition tracking Columbus First Voyage from Spain to the New World. She is surveyed every 3 years and is rated for worldwide ocean passages.
