[ Archived ] Caribbean Cruise Mexico to Mexico ref 3615

BALTASAR MENA wants 3 crew for CURANDERA, HUNTER 49 2009, 15m.

From Isla Mujeres, Mexico to Isla Mujeres, Mexico.

April 2015 to June 2015.

This will be the first of a series of voyages in the Caribbean. I am an eager sailor; I crossed the Atlantic last year and I plan to sail the Caribbean this year starting in April.I cannot sail alone since the boat is too big and I would like to have a crew (no preference of age or gender) but with a view to further trips and friendship. I am a professor at the Univerisy of Mexico currently forming a group of students in a new lab in Sisal (Yucatan). I have a lot of free time since I am 72 (although not retired and in very good shape)and well established in my university during 40 years. You may google me if you wish. I am also a rock musician (still active. I need people to come sailing with me. I am a fair sailor but always in need of a captain and a strong crew. I cook fairly well and I like to share duties. I am easy going with a great sense of humor (so I think)and I speak Spanish, English, French and Italian. I am looking forward to a fun cruise and a long friendship. I do not smoke, I love wine, I play guitar and sing, I am divorced with two daughters (19 and 17)who come sailing with me several times a year. I intend to plan a series of voyages during the next years, both long and short cruises. My crew can live in the boat if they wish during periods of inactivity.
