LV Yachting wants 4 crew for Rocket Dog, Beneteau First 40, 12m.

From , Malta to Gran Canaria, Spain.

October 2014 to November 2014.

This passage is a great opportunity to gain experience and miles whilst under the guidance of a professional crew. Southern Child is a safe and fast professionally run Beneteau First 40. She is MCA coded and crewed by a Yachtmaster Skipper. She has a complete inventory of safety equipment including life rafts, EPIRB, Satphone and medical supplies. The professional crew will help sailors with less experience familiarise themselves with the yacht. The passage is approximately 1750nm we have allowed 2.5 weeks for this passage.

Crew roles: We prefer crew to have experienced some offshore sailing so they know what to expect but you do not need to be an expert. That is why there are 2 professional sailors aboard enabling you to enjoy the experience confident that you are in safe hands. The First Mate will organise the food which is alway of high quality on our yachts (you can read about this in our blogs and menu plans on the website). All crew will be fully involved in sailing the yacht, helping, trimming sails and navigation.
