[ Cancelled ] World ARC Leg 12 Brazil to Grenada Brazil to Grenada ref 2546

Dan Bower wants 6 crew for Skyelark of London, Skye 51, 16m.

From Salvador, Brazil to St Georges, Grenada.

February 2018 to March 2018.

Leg 12: Salvador, Recife, Grenada (Caribbean) 12th February 2018 - 15th March 2018 (2300nm) Beginning in Salvador we will spend some time cruising locally before heading up the Brazilian coast to Recife. We will time our arrival to take in the highlight of the Carnival festivities before meeting up with the WARC fleet on the 24th February. A vast array of different races and cultures will be experienced here along with many historic buildings and churches. In early March we set off for the Caribbean, enjoying the steady trade winds and favourable currents up the Brazilian coast. This 1700nm passage should take around 11 days. This leg finishes in Grenada, one of our favourite Caribbean islands, so make sure you take some time to explore before heading home. Skyelark is fully coded to cat 0 regulations (unrestricted). This will be her second circumnavigation with her owners Dan and Em, both highly experienced ocean yachtmasters. £3500 All details on http://skye51.com
