RORC Caribbean 600 takes place in a paradise for sailors. Warm sunshine, warm seas, stunning scenery and steady trade winds all contribute to make the RORC Caribbean 600 one of the favourite races of the year. Starting and finishing in Antigua, the race takes you on a 600 mile course around 11 Caribbean islands heading north to Nevis and St. Kitts, Saba and St. Barths before passing between St Maarten and Anguilla and then heading south to round Guadeloupe before turning back to Antigua. Crew spaces are available for this wonderful race in February 2014 on board Bella of London, a Grand Soleil 50. Join us on board Bella for training and preparation followed by the race itself. The cost of the event will include race training and preparation in safety, boat handling and spinnaker handling. We have also included some time after the race for you to use Bella as a base to enjoy Antigua. This will be a fantastic experience; a wonderful opportunity to race in some of the best conditions in the world. The race package includes: • Experienced racing skipper and mate • All meals, drinks and snacks onboard • All berthing fees • Race entry fees and onboard expenses (diesel, gas etc) Excluded from the package are: • Personal Insurance • Flights/Transfers • Shoreside accommodation • Sailing boots/footwear • Wet weather gear • Meals ashore You will be supplied with a full kit list prior to the race. Items can also be hired from us directly so please ask for details. Both Virgin Atlantic and British Airways fly from the UK to Antigua. The RORC has a new partnership with Virgin Atlantic.
