We are looking for a skipper with proven experience in Antarctica or other polar regions for a sailing charter aboard a 50-foot sailing yacht. The typical crew will consist of two professional crew members and five hands-on guests. In addition to proven experience navigating in high-latitude and polar waters, the skipper must understand the importance of managing the voyage not only from a navigational and safety perspective, but also of maintaining a positive onboard atmosphere and ensuring an outstanding experience for the guests throughout the trip. Tentative operating period: December, January and February. The skipper must hold an RYA Yachtmaster Ocean certificate or an equivalent qualification that allows the yacht to be legally dispatched from Ushuaia to Antarctica.
