Rigging & Sails - Sails: Brand new suite of sails purchased in 2026 (crisp, strong, and ready for long-distance ocean voyaging). Navigation & Electronics Chartplotter: Modern B&G multifunction display at the helm. Radar: Raymarine radar system for night passage-making and squall tracking. Autopilot: Primary electronic autopilot (with a fully independent backup system currently being integrated). Communication & Power Connectivity: Permanent Starlink satellite internet installed on board for continuous offshore weather routing and data. Power Systems: Upgraded high-capacity house battery bank paired with an extensive solar array layout for generator-free, self-sustaining off-grid cruising. Current Location & Retrofit Logistics Current Homeport: Pensacola, Florida.Project Status: The boat is currently located in Pensacola, FL, which is where all the pre-trip retrofits (battery bank, solar upgrades, watermaker, and secondary autopilot installation) will be performed over the next year leading up to our Fall 2027 departure. Remote consulting will align with the physical work being executed locally on the ground here.
