We’re racing in ARC 2026, departing Las Palmas on Nov 22 and arriving in Saint Lucia after 2,700 NM of serious offshore sailing. Train with our pro crew, led by skipper Jelmer van Beek, and take part in every aspect of life onboard: helming, trimming, navigating, cooking, and more. No passengers – everyone is crew. Crew roles: We’re looking for people with the right mindset. For the ARC, we look for crew members who are up for an adventure. You don’t need extensive offshore experience, however you should have sailing at night experience. You should be eager to learn, actively contribute on board, and ready for the physical and mental challenge of a 2,700-mile Atlantic crossing. Life on Team JAJO is all about working together. From steering and trimming to cooking and night watches, everyone is part of the team. Our crew comes from different backgrounds and nationalities, united by one shared goal: crossing the Atlantic aboard a Volvo Ocean 65.
