[ active ] ARC Europe 2026 Saint Martin to United Kingdom ref 15855

Dan Bower wants 3 crew for Skyelark 2, Oyster 62, m.

From Simpson Bay marina, Saint Martin to southampton, United Kingdom.

May 2026 to June 2026.

The ARC Europe is a great way to make the eastward transatlantic passage. Routing via Bermuda and the Azores makes for shorter hops and gets the maximum advantage from the trade winds. Two legs are available or for the adventurous, join us for both! Leg 1: 7th May–1st June 2026 (2700nm) St Maarten, Bermuda, Horta (Azores) £7500 per person Bermuda This eastbound crossing is the best way to cross the Atlantic ocean if you have the time available. Highlights are the long summer nights, varied weather conditions and a high chance of seeing whales. The first passage is a great introduction, with a fast 4-5 days of easy sailing to find your sea legs and get into the routine before we arrive in Bermuda. The passage on to the Azores is around 10 days of ocean sailing and is usually a mix of upwind and downwind conditions as we route through the weather systems. A few days of exhilarating sailing are almost guaranteed — the kind of challenge Skyelark takes effortlessly in her stride. Arrival in the Azores is a celebration in one of the most iconic sailing stop overs. Between passages, there's time to explore. Wander the pastel streets and pink-sand beaches of Bermuda, then lose yourself in the lush, volcanic beauty of the Azores. Whether you're drawn to nature, culture, or adventure you won't be disappointed. Leg 2: 4th–15th June 2026 (1400nm) Horta, Azores to Southampton, UK £3500 per person For those who appreciate the craft of ocean sailing, the leg from the Azores to Southampton offers the perfect blend of challenge, seamanship, and satisfaction. The final leg of the Atlantic circuit is a rewarding 8-10 day passage across the North Atlantic and through the English Channel, an opportunity for experienced sailors to refine their skills, log valuable miles, and enjoy purposeful ocean sailing.
