April 2026 to May 2026.
Relocating our boat from the south coast of the UK to Florida. Planning to depart mid-April to get around the Azores high before the start of hurricane season. While there are many possible port stops on the way, the goal will be to complete the passage as quickly and safely as possible. Boat will initially be departing from East Cowes, but could pick up crew in ports along the south coast of the UK west of the Isle of Wight. Subject to discussion and details, crew could depart vessel in Bahamas or alternative location other than USA if desired.
What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): Watch-leader
Sailing with a Rally: None
I'm looking for (gender): either
Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-own bunk
Smoking on board: non-smokers only
Total people on board: 3
Crew roles: Hoping to find a keen crew member, possibly building miles for their own Yachtmaster or other certification. Must be comfortable taking a routine night watch and be familiar with concepts and tools for collision avoidance.
Money: captain pays all expenses
Travel to and from boat: crew pays
