May 2026 to June 2026.
After having participated to the ARC+ 2025 with our family, we bring back the boat in Europe and I am looking for additional crew members to join the passage. The Crew & Vessel • The crew currently consists of an experienced offshore sailor. • I am around 45 years old, experienced, and easygoing. • The catamaran is well-equipped for the crossing (see boat details), ensuring a safe and efficient passage. Who We Are Looking For • motivated, reliable, and team-oriented sailors. • Comfortable with long ocean passages, night watches, and life at sea. • Someone with minimum sailing experience, offshore experience is a plus • A good fit for the crew dynamic—positive attitude and adaptable mindset are key! Details • Departure: 9th May 2026 from Saint Marteen (Simpson bay) in Caribbean • Destination: Lagos in Portugal • Estimated Duration: Around 1.5 month, depending on weather conditions with a stop in Bermudas and the Acores • Permit / Visa: sailor must have rights to travel to Bermudas and Portugal / Passport, Visa must be regulated / Have enough money to travel back home • Contribution: Shared expenses (food, fuel, berth during the crossing, cleaning, internet - optional) • Not included: Travel from/to the boat - Personal insurance (health and public liability insurances must be provided) - ARC Europe 2026 participation £475 • On owner cost: boat, boat insurance, maintenance If you’re interested in an incredible Atlantic crossing with a solid and fun crew, reach out with your sailing background and a bit about yourself! Crew roles: The crew will take turns to participate in most of the tasks on the boat : - Prepare the boat - Set or remove the sails - Prepare the cooking for the rest of the crew - Steer or watch if auto-pilot is engaged - Check the course / weather - Night watches - Prepare port manoeuvre - Fish - Play cards or board games - Read books - Watch dolphins - Drink (no alcohol) - No smoking boat / no pet accepted If you are woman, you may have your own room or it will be shared with an other woman.
