[ active ] Guernsey Atlantic ARC United Kingdom to Saint Lucia ref 15654

From St Peter Port, United Kingdom to Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia.
July 2026 to December 2026.
🌍 Crew Wanted – ARC 2026 Atlantic Crossing aboard Moody 44 We’re looking for 2–3 crew to join us for the ARC 2026 Atlantic crossing aboard our Moody 44 sailing yacht. About Us We’re a couple sailing our Moody 44, setting off from Guernsey in summer 2026 and aiming to be in the Canary Islands by early November for the ARC start. We don’t drink, we like to keep things relaxed but safe, and we’re looking for crew who are enthusiastic, adaptable, and up for the adventure. The Plan • Departure: Guernsey, August 2026 (weather dependent). • Route: Down the west coast of France and northern Spain, with the option of stopping in the Azores. • Destination: Canary Islands for the ARC rally preparations. • ARC start: Late November 2026, crossing to Saint Lucia. • We’ll be staying in Saint Lucia for Christmas before deciding the next steps – crew can disembark then, or talk with us about staying on longer. Crew Arrangements • One couple: forward V-cabin with Jack & Jill shared head. • One solo crew: forward starboard bunk cabin. • We mainly want crew for the Atlantic crossing, but it would be great if you could sail with us earlier (July–August) so we can get to know each other as a team. Expectations • ARC rally crew fee (paid directly to ARC, non-refundable). • Crew must bring their own lifejacket with personal PLB (ARC requirement). The boat will carry all other ARC-mandated safety equipment, which will be inspected in the Canaries. • Shared contribution to provisions and running costs. • Happy with simple, shared meals (we’re not fussy eaters and would prefer the same). • Some sailing experience is ideal, but attitude and reliability are just as important. What You’ll Get • A proper offshore adventure, with the safety and camaraderie of the ARC fleet. • The chance to sail a proven bluewater yacht on an epic passage. • Memories, friendships, and a tropical Christmas at the end of it! If this sounds like your kind of adventure, send me a message telling us a bit about yourself, your sailing background, and why you’d like to join. We’re keen to meet potential crew ahead of time so we know we’ll make a good team.

Sailing with a Rally: ARC – Atlantic Rally for Cruisers
I'm looking for (gender): either
Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk
Smoking on board: smoking allowed
Total people on board: 5
Crew roles: Crew Wanted I’m looking for easy-going, fun-loving crew to join me on my Moody 44. A couple and maybe a single person would be ideal – people who enjoy a laugh, good conversation, and the adventure of life at sea. You don’t need to be a seasoned sailor – some experience helps, but the main thing is being willing to muck in, take a turn on watch, cook a meal now and then, and enjoy the journey. Positive vibes, flexibility, and a sense of humour are way more important than being serious or overly technical. If you’re up for sunsets, sailing, a bit of exploring, and plenty of stories along the way, you’ll fit right in.
