[ active ] DARWIN TO CAPE TOWN Australia to South Africa ref 15525

Nigel Lewis wants 1 crew for Musketeer of Cowes, Jeanneau 55, m.

From Darwin, Australia to Cape Town, South Africa.

September 2025 to January 2026.

We are part of the World Arc fleet and looking for one additional crew member to do the Darwin to S Africa (there may be options available for further legs as well). We leave Darwin 8th September and arrive in S Africa early/mid November visiting Lombok, Christmas Island, Coco Keeling Islands, Mauritius, Reunion and Richard's Bay on the way. My first mate, Lisa, and I along with two other crew brought the boat from the UK across the Atlantic with the Atlantic ARC and are now in Fiji leaving shortly for Vanuatu on the way to Australia. If you are interested, please contact me direct [email protected] We are currently circumnavigating with World ARC. As skipper/owner and 1st mate we have navigated coastal waters on our own, and with 1 or 2 crew members who have wanted to experience the places we are travelling. We have taken on crew for longer passages (1 or 2 at a time). Our crew have become part of our team and been fully involved in the life and operation of the boat. We are now preparing for the second half of our World Arc Rally trip. There are opportunities for a crew member to join us in Darwin (by 1st September) sailing to Lombok, Philippines and then across the Indian Ocean to Richard's Bay, S Africa. We are looking for an English speaker; important for boat communication. The crew member would need to be suitably qualified to keep solo watch at night and be familiar with modern boat systems. You would take part in cooking and cleaning the boat alongside the rest of the team. We look forward to contact from suitably qualified individuals.
