We had a crew member drop pot so we have a short notice oportunity Crew Wanted for Passage from the Pacific side of Panama to the Marquesas (Unpaid) Hello! We are Kevin and Melinda, liveaboards on a fully equipped Leopard 50 catamaran. After sailing across the Atlantic from Cape Town, we explored the Eastern Caribbean, cruising up to Annapolis, then across to the Bahamas, and currently enjoying the San Blas islands in Panama. We are looking for one crew member, a male under the age of 30, to join us for a passage from the Pacific side of Panama to the Marquesas—probably landing at Hiva Oa—primarily to assist with watches. Passage Details: • Arrival: You must meet us on the Pacific side of Panama around the 7th of June 2025 • Departure: We will leave in the first weather window after the 8th of June. • Arrival in French Polynesia will be around 30 to 35 days later our plan is to land at Hiva Oa. • Due to weather and other unseen circumstances, the above times are estimates and do not imply a commitment from us. Best is that you are unrestrained by time • Costs: We will cover onboard living costs, with no financial contribution either way. You are responsible for your travel expenses to/from the boat. Crew Requirements: • Must be available to arrive in Panama by 7 June and be available for at least 35 days after we depart. • Must have a valid passport & visa (if applicable), not expiring soon, for entry into Panama, and French Polynesia. • No experience required, but you must stay awake during your watch (3 hours day, 3 hours night). • You must be physically able to help with all aspects of sailing, DIY skills a-plus • No smokers (vaping allowed at the helm station only). • No special dietary requirements (we can’t accommodate complex diets and multiple menu options while at sea). • Should have your own medical insurance (we require signing of a medical/injury indemnity).
