[ active ] Dom. Rep –> Philippines, Thailand Dominican Republic to Philippines ref 15414

Guido Budack wants 1 crew for sassyslee.us, custom, m.
From Luperon, Dominican Republic to Cebu, Philippines.
January 2026 to January 2026.
sassyslee.us is a former custom aluminum build IOR racer from the great lakes. After the purchase in Detroit in the heights of the Corona pandemic she has and is undergoing an extensive, profound refit on a mooring in the D R. Soon she will be fully seaworthy again. In '26 and after sufficient tests I want to sail /race her to the Philippines, later Thailand. For this to let happen I'm looking for one (possibly two) strong, good man who want(s) to do this together with me. There is no expected contribution but I'm not paying anything either. If you are looking for a 'convenient ride' THIS ONE IS NOT FOR YOU! The aim is to average 8-8.5 knots using the full sail inventory at all times! Only hammocks (well there are bunks on the ballast tanks but its way more convenient in hammocks), no water-maker, flexible tube auto pilot but all security related devices and tools like AIS, HF! and VHF radios, Garmin Inreach, Starlink, life-raft, solar panel etc. She will have a bimini and a small dodger by then. Basic cooking is possible. Hitchhikers, freeloaders, people with mental, health or drug problems, undecided people or total retards (IN BRIEF WEAK CREW) - PLEASE DON'T CONTACT ME (AGAIN)! It be helpful if you had a technical background. Sailing experience is mandatory! The position demands: age 30-70 max., good physical and stable mental condition, good swimmer, no problems with night shifts and heights, strictly no alcohol and drugs. Contact me for details.
