[ closed ] Caribbean to Europe on a catamaran Barbados to Portugal ref 14785
Doug B wants 2 crew for Lagoon, Lagoon 380 S2, m.
From Barbados, Barbados to Azores, Portugal.
April 2024 to June 2024.
We’re getting ready to cross the Atlantic from the Caribbean (Saint Martin) to the Azores, and Portugal *************** There may also be room to join the boat as we explore the Caribbean in the lead up to departure (preference for selection of Transatlantic crew will be to those that can join as early as possible). We leave Barbados 13th April for Trinidad, and then will make our way north while exploring the Caribbean islands, with departure to Europe from Saint Martin in the first suitable weather window after 10 May *************** OTHER COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENS ON THIS BOAT: Every so often, I host special sailing weeks: invite carefully selected people who are world class in their respective fields but also kind/respectful/fun, pull them away from their busy day-to-day a week of discussion/relaxation/exploration/food - ask me if you're interested in that. As lovers of both the ocean and science, we’re also looking to run, participate and collaborate on ocean citizen science projects as the boat moves around the world *************** THE SKIPPER: From New Zealand, a former corporate lawyer and now founder of a fully-remote travel gear company. Loves sailing, surfing, being underwater, gathering food from the wilderness, onboard karaoke, comedy and travel. He speaks passable English and tiny amounts of Portuguese, Spanish, Māori and Japanese
