[ Full ] Sailing the Pacific Panama to Australia ref 1476
Carolyn Jrffries wants 2 crew for Sirius, Than a, 17m.
From Panama, Panama to Sydney, Australia.
April 2013 to December 2013.
We set off from the UK on 1st June 2012, sailed in the Med and then to the Carnary Islands we then crossed the Atlantic being in the ARC. We are currently cruising the Caribbean. We plan on going through the Panama Canal in early April then crossing the Pacific. We will be stopping off at Galapogas, Easter Island, Pitcairn, Marcaques, Polonesia, Tonga, Fiji and possibly a few others. We are a family of four, Andrew skipper, Carolyn first mate and two children Sophia almost 9 and Cameron almost 7. We like to have two other adults onboard when doing big legs and the Pacific has some pretty big legs. We would like to get two crew members who are able to do a big part of the journey with us but we would also consider people that can only do smaller amounts. Ocean sailing experience is required and the ability to interact with children is quite important. You will need to be part of the team and be involved in all aspects of sailing including taking turns at night watch etc
