[ closed ] Lisbon to the Caribbean with some unique stops LEAVING EARLY FEB Portugal to Barbados ref 14669
Doug B wants 2 crew for Lagoon, Lagoon 380 S2, m.
From Lisbon, Portugal to Bridgetown, Barbados.
May 2024 to .
We’re getting ready to leave Lisbon in early Feb to cross the Atlantic, and have just had a couple of spots open up! Send me a message if you’re interested in: (1) Atlantic Crossing from Lisbon->Caribbean (with possible stops in Selvagem Islands nature reserve, Canaries, Cape Verde, French Guiana/Suriname before reaching the Caribbean) - expected departure Feb 5 (2) Joining the boat as we explore the Caribbean (3) A possible return Caribbean->Europe passage in May OTHER COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENS ON THIS BOAT Every so often, I host special sailing weeks: invite carefully selected people who are world class in their respective fields but also kind/respectful/fun, pull them away from their busy day-to-day a week of discussion/relaxation/exploration/food - ask me if you're interested in that Less glamorous but there are also times where I’m not traveling elsewhere, and will just work remotely laptop on the boat wherever it is, so there might be a chance for other people who can work or study remotely to experience boat life, learn by helping out with jobs aboard As lovers of both the ocean and science, we’re also looking to run, participate and collaborate on ocean citizen science projects as the boat moves around the world. THE SKIPPER From New Zealand, a former corporate lawyer and now founder of a fully-remote travel gear company. Loves sailing, surfing, being underwater, gathering food from the wilderness, onboard karaoke, comedy and travel. He speaks passable English and tiny amounts of Portuguese, Spanish, Māori and Japanese
