David Poole wants 3 crew for Pure Joy, Seawind 1600, m.

From Gibralter, Gibraltar to Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia.

October 2023 to December 2023.

Pure Joy will be offloaded from a mast up transfer from Singapore to Gibralter in early October. We will be sailing her down to Las Palmas planning to arrive 5th November. The next two weeks will be spent on final preparations for the crossing and the big provisioning (as well as joining in on all the Arc fun and activities!). Departure date for the Arc is 19th November. We would expect to arrive in St Lucia in mid December. We want to maintain a friendly, fun and safe environment at all times. To that end, all successful candidates will have a positive outlook, be adaptable and be ready for a laugh whilst always prioritizing safety and looking out for your fellow crew. There will be a (very well behaved!) 7year old on board, so being comfortable/happy around children is important too. Grumps and pessimists need not apply. 🤣

Crew roles: Captain: experienced sailor capable of being skipper/first mate. Watch Leader: 2 other crew members capable and confident in managing a night watch. Cooking skills, sense of fun and humor and ease around children all greatly appreciated in all crew!

Money: expenses shared equally

Travel to and from boat: crew pays
