Monster Project is a 2008 -2009 Volvo 70 Racer. Several Legs. We are looking for crew to sail her from Sydney to Italy. There is a choice of legs to sail. The Leg Sydney to Darwin has been reduced to $2500. The Skipper/Owner is Johannes Schwarz. He is a specialists racing skipper, having competed in many of the prestigious races in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. He has been racing Volvo 70’s for more that 10 years. He has done many Atlantic crossings. While Johannes is an accomplished racing skipper, he sails conservatively to suit the conditions while shifting his yachts from various locations in the world. Monster Project is a typical racing boat with no luxury accommodation on board. However, the yacht will be prepared for a safe journey to Italy. All meals will be supplied. While it is desirable that you would have sailing experience, the main criteria will be that crew are fit, healthy and don’t get seasick. My name is Ken Vonhoff. I am a friend of Johannes. I have sailed many miles with Johannes. I am based in Australia, and I am assisting finding crew. Johannes is presently racing in the Caribbean.
