[ closed ] Adventure sailing Lisbon – Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Portugal to Canary Islands ref 13891
Southern Ocean Company wants 6 crew for Eira, Swan 51, m.
From Cascais, Portugal to Muelle Deportivo Las Palmas, Canary Islands.
September 2023 to September 2023.
Lisbon – Las Palmas takes us far out in the Atlantic Ocean in true Blue Water fashion. The route gives two basic opportunities, one going close to shore and enjoy the Portuguese coast, the other visiting Madeira before heading down to Las Palmas and the Canaries. If we have the time we can also visit Puerto Calero on Lanzarote. This little marina is a favourite hang-out for many a cruiser heading over the Atlantic for the Caribbean season. The weather for this journey is likely to be warm and windy. We are well in trade wind regions and conditions are depending on eventual low pressures in the central part of the Atlantic. Eleven days should allow us a few stop-overs along the way. Possible stops: Lagos/Vilamoura – Madeira – Gibraltar – Lanzarote – Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Voyage cost covers full board when at sea and all costs for boat and personal safety equipment, foulies, bedding etc
Southern Ocean Company is currently based in Finland

Our crew usually consists of several different nationalities and it helps if you are used to be around people on close quarters. This is a true Blue Water stretch and a good intro to any Ocean Crossing.
