DescriptionVoyager II is a 2009 Oyster 46. She has proven herself amicably with 2 Atlantic crossings and crossing the pacific to Tahiti so far! Before departure in June 2022, she was fully updated with new standing and running Rigging and new furling sails, new canvas, 90L/hour water maker, new Raymarine electronics, small washing machine, 1000 watts solar panels, 600W watt and sea, 8kw generator. She is a joy to sail with mostly electric winches and good safety with all reefing etc from the cockpit. With light oak interior, she is comfortable inside but the best bit is, she sails beautifully, handles bigs seas with ease and can move surprisingly fast. Sail inventory: roller furling 140% Genoa, in mast furling Main Sail, Cruising chute, staysail (removable inner forestay) and storm Jib. Engine Yanmar 75 <2,000 hrs. From a leisure perspective, I have a 2 man inflatable kayak, paddle board, snorkel gear, a scuba set and 2 fishing rods, a guitar and a good fridge for beer and wines (although no drinking on passage). She is itching to explore the rest of the Pacific over the next months and continue to let us enjoy what she was designed by Rob Humphrey’s and Oyster to do - sail and explore big blue waters. |
