Description

2006 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49DS. Owner’s version, three cabin. We use one for pantry/storage. In-mast furling and 120% genoa. We are full time live aboard since 2019. Since that time we have been preparing the boat and ourselves for this Atlantic crossing. Among many of the other things we've done, Shanti has had her engine overhauled, replaced drive-shaft bearing, replaced cutlass bearing, new main sail, new anchor, new anchor chain, and most recently all new standing rigging. A 6-man offshore life-raft was purchased new in 2019. We added an arch with dinghy davits, outboard lift, and a wind generator. We also added solar power. The list goes on.
