Description

Mahogany is a Legend 41 built in 2003. We have owned her since 2017 and have undertaken a programme of work to fit her out for longer term sailing She is a two cabin version and is well equipped and maintained to the standards required for the ARC Portugal. We've sailed her extensively in the Irish Sea from her previous home port of Pwllheli including Scotland, Ireland and Brittany. She is equipped with AIS, radar and new sails from 2020 as well as a full refit of all standing rigging in 2020 as well. She has a bow thruster as well as D2-55 Volvo engine for punching against tides and waves as well as easy manoeuvring in harbours. She is equipped with both solar and wind turbine generating capability in order to be sustainable on longer voyages.
