Additional details

With a full cockpit enclosure, Sparkle Plenty keeps the crew dry for coastal cruising. She carries an Avon 261 Lite RIB on davits powered by a Tohatsu 5hp outboard. 3 flexible solar panels mounted above the bimini and dodger provide 360 watts of power. Her Universal 5444 diesel has relative low hours and provides strong performance with here 3 blade cruising prop. Her fully reconditioned Hood Sto-Mast allows easy deployment and reefing of the main. Her Seldon Furlex furler with new Harken furling carbo blocks eases furling the headsail. New main and genoa Quantum tri radial cut sails use Polyester Composite construction featuring large, straight, untwisted polyester yarns (scrim) sandwiched between two layers of woven polyester taffetas for better alignment, lower stretch, and improved shape holding. Below the waterline a Coppercoat bottom provides a slick bottom with no barnacle growth or bottom paint needed.
