The Azores archipelago form the hub for the North Atlantic sailing routes. Yachts enroute from the Carribean to europe meet with travellers to various other destinations. On our voyage to Ireland we will dive into the westerlies found around 40° North, swinging to southwest ahead of a front and northwest behind. The yacht is a fully re-fitted cruiser-racer Archambault 40 with a variety of upwind and down wind sails, brand new safety equipment and lots of comfort for fast long distance cruising.
