Description

The Skye 51 was designed by Kaufman & Ladd of Annapolis, who were commissioned by the John G. Alden Company. The design was for a performance cruising yacht intended for world voyaging. As such, Skyelark has been designed, engineered, and built to quality standards comparable with the finest yachts in the world. Few performance cruising designs built today have the exceptional strength, classic styling and beautifully varnished woodwork that the Skye 51 offers. A spacious deck layout, large safe cockpit area and wide side decks make for comfortable and safe cruising. The interior arrangement provides 3 separate cabins, all ensuite - one double with private shower and heads, and two twin cabins forward, sharing one shower and head with private access. The spacious saloon provides 2 secure pilot berths and 2 saloon berths giving the possibility of sleeping 10 on board. For your peace of mind, Skyelark is fully coded for unrestricted use, licensed to charter anywhere in the world, and as such meets stringent regulations on safety equipment, crew qualifications and medical supplies carried.
