Description

RaLa is a centre cockpit ketch with a long encapsulated keel. She is a substantial craft designed for ocean passages and has been refitted extensively by ourselves last year over a period of 7 months full time. She is cutter rigged and has a full sail suite, a new engine, is fitted with a new suite of electronics including radar. She has a full suite of new safety equipment including a new 6 man life raft. She is also equipped with a new Hydrovane. Below decks there are 3 cabins galley/saloon, a double seat chart table and two bathroom heads with extensive storage. The interior finish is largely wood with new soft furnishings. She has large capacity water and fuel storage. RaLa has 4 large capacity solar panels which feed a 24v domestic system and also 220v plugs though we only use these occasionally with shore power/generator. Crew will have their own cabin with a single passage berth. This is fitted with USB plug and berth lights.

Additional details

Since taking ownership in Greece we have cruised the Mediterranean for 6 months and are currently in Southern Spain en route to the Canaries for a winter Atlantic crossing.
