Nigel Studdart wants 4 crew for Azura, Oyster 435/03, 13m.
From VIGO, Spain to English Harboutr, Antigua & Barbuda.
July 2019 to December 2019.
Hi Everyone, Just an update on my previous opportunity. Plan now is to sail from Vigo or nearby down to Lagos and then onwards to the Canaries I will return aboard in Early June and expect to be ready to sail around mid July from Baiona down the Portuguese coast. Then will plan on crossing from the Canaries in December or January, after the ARC! so Lots of opportunities to join for part or all of it. If you have written to me before feel free to do so again and update your availability. As before my priority is personality over experience and age or sex immaterial. I am a relaxed captain ( Ex Superyacht with 250,000miles plus experience and happy to teach anything) The Boat is a very well equiped and comfortable Oyster 435. Costs are shared at a flat rate of 40$ USD per day aboard covering food and general boat expenses. This is non negotiable and less than cost. I have three-four berths available depending on makeup ( Single / Couples and if I have a companion aboard ) I also have a spot during recommissioning to learn the ropes and how to commission an ocean going cruising yacht in June and sailing for a few weeks the Ria's if anyone would like to be involved.
What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): does not matter

Sailing with a Rally: Independent
I'm looking for (gender): either
Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-own bunk
Smoking on board: non-smokers only
Total people on board: 5
Crew roles: Great attitude and pitch in team player Don't mind if your shy or extrovert, room for all aboard and plenty off space to be yourself. Personally I am a quiet person who enjoys company but also can sit a read at the aft deck table, or lie in the hammock and chill. Fit enough for the trip, to snorkel and pull lines, to enjoy the passage. Everyone gets seasick in the right or rather wrong conditions! ( I am luck after many years at sea as I don't but I don't blames any way those that do. I have never known any crew member be sick after 3 days, Age and sex Immaterial Couples ok but prefer singles.
Money: daily contribution from crew $40
Travel to and from boat: crew pays
