An opportunity to sail Swan 46 from Antigua to East Coast of Uk Trip breaks into 4 parts, volunteers welcome for alll or any one part. 1. Two or three weeks sailing in Caribbean mid April until early May, Antigua to BVI with a few stops. 2 BVI To Bermuda early May to mid May 3 Bermuda to Azores with a stop to enjoy these islands mid May to early June 4 Azores to Ipswich east coast UK, with a few stops on South coast , finish end of June. I am flexible on time , could leave bit earlier or later, if that fits with suitable crew. If we follow above schedule it will be with ARC Europe, this a good social crack, I have sailed it before , not imperative. The sailing will be with little or no engine use, I have little interest in not sailing, this will be my third Atlantic sailing is the way I like to do it. If we join the ARC people, hope to be one of the quicker boats, managed two seconds on the last ARC Europe .We enjoyed a 1st and a 2nd on trip out in December, my interest is in keeping the boat sailing quickly without drama. Boat has been modified and improved to maximise offshore sailing, but she is a retired racer from the 80s and the accommodation reflects this. Crew will be a max of 4 and min of 2, dependent on volunteers.

Crew roles: Crew has to be fit and active, this is a boat that requires foredeck work and ability to reef at mast. Ability to steer to compass, or the condo attitude and desire to learn, I am looking for people who want to sail not go for a ride. Equal share of cooking. Navigation is simple, boat repairs are normally down to me. Be assured we have most safety equipment and all systems are in excellent order.
