Update 27. Januar: Wir sind jetzt in Colon, Panama. Ein Matrose der dies lesen kann und nicht viel älter ist als wir, wäre höchst willkommen! 😉 Am 08.03. soll es wahrscheinlich durch den Kanal gehen. Wir können noch Crew bis Galapagos, oder von Galapagos bis FP brauchen. Wenn es gut läuft, ginge auch die ganze Strecke. Jana Pacific Crossing to French Polynesia We are planning to leave from Panama to French Polynesia on our 50’ catamaran around March. We will visit Galapagos, a crew exchange is possible there. The boat is big, fully equipped and you have your own cabin wbathroom. We have a satellite terminal on board which will allow e-mail and (limited) internet access. We are a family sailing from Europe to Australia so we are looking for crew that is happy to sail with our boys aged 7 and 4. We would appreciate if you would like to spend some time with the boys during the day. Some sailing and diving experience is welcome, we need help with night watches. Please be sure not to be seasick for longer. We have always shared the cooking between our crews and us. We like to eat healthy! Our focus is on people enjoying a Sundowner with the parents, playing games with the boys, enjoy sailing/cooking. We are happy to share our knowledge about sailing and our experiences!

Crew roles: Looking for friendly young men or couples with some sailing experience. For safety reasons and fun we always took crew for the longer passages. We found that crew members at our age or a bit younger then us, fitted the best.

Money: expenses shared equally $10 per day?

Travel to and from boat: negotiable
