Dan Bower wants 4 crew for Skyelark of London, Skye 51, 16m.
From Falmouth Harbour, Antigua & Barbuda to Angra do Heroismo, Portugal.
April 2019 to May 2019.
Antigua to Terceira, Azores – 20th April – 10th May 2019 (2300nm): Join from 10:00 on the 20th April Terceira, Azores This passage departs from Falmouth Harbour in Antigua and finishes on the island of Terceira in the Azores. We may have time for a brief stop in Horta, Faial before the final 70 mile passage to Terceira. Join us for 2300 miles of ocean sailing which should take about 15 days, more than enough to qualify for your Ocean Yachtmaster Certificate. These mid Atlantic Islands are famous amongst yachties but otherwise only visited by the more determined of travellers. We will arrive into Angra do Heroismo on Terceira. This small city has a rich historical background with much to explore and is also classified as a UNESCO world heritage site. If you have time to enjoy the island after the passage there are many walks, volcanoes, gardens, and historical sites to explore. The Azores are truly one of the hidden gems of the Atlantic Islands and one of our favourite stops on the Atlantic circuit. £2,750 per person.
