| I started sailing 10 years ago. I regularly sail all year round with my own Beneteau Oceanis 31 on a large lake (74 km long and 6 km wide) called Balaton. I am also a fanatic of dinghy sailing and love to sail my RS Zest in stronger winds. I hold an International Certificate For Operators of Pleasure Crafts (2015) and a RYA Day Skipper certificate (2017). In 2018 I passed the RYA VHF exam. Now I am attending the RYA Coastal Skipper course. I have sailed on inland waters more than 4500 nautical miles, and 1300 nautical miles on seas in different regions (Carribian, Aegian, Ionian, Seychelles, Canaries, Adriatic). On these seas, we sailed on bareboat charters together with my wife, being solely responsible for all our decisions and movements. My dream/plan is to sail across the Atlantic before I will become 50. | |
