| Hi there! I start sailing when a was 6 yo with optimists, then with 420 and then j24. I got my license within 12 miles at the age of 18 and I worked for some years as a sailing instructor at the yacht club Arzachena, from 21 to 25yo I worked as a captain for a Russian owner on two powerboats from 60 and 90 knt. In 2005 became his personal assistant and moved to Moscow. As assistant / butler I followed him aboard his Benetti 56m yacht and the various yachts he rented including maltese falcon, galaxy, alfanero. after the experience in Russia I returned to sardinia and after a brief experience as a deckhand on swan 90 solleone I embarked as captain on the riva splendida 72, where I still work today. stcw, Italian license without limits from the coast, powerboat level2, gmdss short range, yacht master offshore sail/motor. I am interested in ocean navigation to be able to access the yacht master ocean course before next summer. | |
