| Hi, looking for adventure and life experiences. Looking for any crew position aboard a yacht. I prefer short hops between ports to experience life rather than ocean crossings, but can do both. I have 40 years sailing experience and currently own a 6.5m trailerable yacht. I know my way around a boat so as not to put it in danger and have some experience in the rough stuff. I will treat your boat as if it were my own, non-smoker, polite, willing to share the load. Experienced watch-keeper on yachts. Navy engineer, I am handy at fixing things (mechanical knowledge, electrical trades and electronics). Qualifications include RYA Coastal Skipper (2019), YA Inshore Skipper Certificate (1998), Radio Operator course and First Aid Certificate. I completed my RYA Yachtmaster coursework and drills in 2018 and expect to pass my exam when attempted in mid-2019). | |
