| I am looking for crew. I have always dreamed of sailing since I was a kid. I have owned and learned to sail a Hobie 18 in AZ and Rocky Point Mexico. I have sailed the Hobie for about 8 years. 1.5 years ago I was able to sell my business and purchase The Dove. I have had several successful businesses and have had great relationships with my crew. I am mechanically inclined. I am a welder fabricator, operator was an EMT for years. and The Dove is a 50’ French built aluminum sloop with triple headsails on furlers. The Dove is twin rudder and bilge keels and draws 1.6 meters. I have spent 1 year in Bundaberg AU upgrading the electric system with full Vectron and Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries. Did an engine and generator re-power. I am currently heading North along the East coast of Australia. | |
