We are a sailing couple, but can do solo. I feel strongly and passionately about the ocean. Sailing competitively and cruising since the age of 16, I have been sailing around the world since 2010 on a 64ft Swedish Sail yacht, I have logged over 40,000nm. I want to take it a step further and share my experience and knowledge in exchange for learning the ropes in the professional yachting industry where I can combine all my resourcefulness with my outgoing personality. I would like to continue to learn more and become a stronger, more knowledgeable sailor on my path to Professional Captain. QUALIFICATIONS • Master Offshore • Working on Master of Yachts Unlimited (Ocean) • BSc. Mechanical Engineering with major in automotive and engines. • STCW 95, Basic Safety Training – Nov 2020 • ENG 1 Medical – Valid Oct 2017 • PWC with Instructor Cert. • VHF Marine Radio Operator • NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver • Nitrox Scuba Diver • Several certifications in Engine, Electrical and maintenance fields SEA EXPERIENCE Dawnbreaker S/Y – Swedish flag 64ft Aluminum ketch. 2010 – 2015 1st Mate, Relief skipper, watch, deckhand, chef and trip planning/navigation Logistics and Shore procedures A non-paid position sailing around the world along the South American Atlantic coast, Antarctica, Chilean Fjords and channels, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Russia, Alaska, Western Canada, West Costa, Hawaii, Marshall Islands and Micronesia. A private yacht managed by two to three crew plus passengers on a contribution process. As boat´s mate on a small crew, covered ALL functions as deemed necessary but did exclusively the cooking, due to survival needs. When possible we travel as a couple. She a seasoned sailor, organizer has logged over 6,000nm over the last two years.
