I'm a retired economist who worked for the Colorado Legislative Council for the past 17 years. I'm a team player, with a good sense of humor, and in good shape and health (6'4" and 200 lbs). I've owned and sailed a Merit 25 for several years, primarily on Lake Dillon in Colorado. I recently purchased an O'Day 39 (same as the Jeanneau Sun Fizz) in Bellingham, Washington and sailed last year in the northern Puget Sound area. Before buying these boats, I took a J-world sailing class that sailed from Santa Barbara to San Diego, which is the extent of my ocean sailing experience. I'm looking to get more ocean sailing experience before heading offshore on my boat and willing to do whatever tasks are necessary onboard. Please call if you'd like more details. Thanks.
