I am a married 65 year old non-smoking healthy male based in the USA. I am financially secure. I am interested in joining the crew of a World Arc catamaran in the upcoming rallies. I am fully vaccinated against Covid19. I have extensive sailing experience. I began sailing in 1980, from Lasers to maxi-boats. I crewed on a 60' catamaran in the 2014 World Arc from St. Lucia to las Perlas Islands. I most recently sailed the 2019-2020 World Arc from Mackay, Australia to Grenada and on to the USVI as First Mate on a 48' Catamaran. I then joined another 55' catamaran with a family of 5 to sail onwards to Ft. Lauderdale. I have had my USCG 100T Captains License since 2005. I am confident is all aspects of sailing and enjoy sharing my knowledge with my boat mates. I am a competent mechanic and fixer of all things. I enjoy good food although I am not one to spend a lot of time preparing fancy meals. I am happy with a cold beer or two on the dock upon arrival. References available. | |
