Two eager Canadians, 54 & 52 with a year off, looking to learn more about sailing We are healthy and fit and wish to absorb as much information regarding sailing as we can in a year so as to venture into the unknown on our own.. Our experience on the water has evolved from owning our own power vessel some years ago, to our recent passion for sailing. We are certified Sail Canada (CYA): Basic Crew Standard/ Basic Cruising Standard as well as having completed a live aboard coastal navigation course in September. Our plan is to arrange crew positions starting at the end of January 2020 in the Caribbean and ending wherever our sails take us January 2021. We will now be in Antigua Barbuda as of February 4, 2020 and would be interested in meeting with anyone crossing to Europe. We are a happy married couple with kids all doing other things now and it’s time to enjoy the world from a different perspective. Meeting new people in the boating world excites us to begin enjoying life’s gifts. Today is a good day to sail ............... | |
