Ref 1201

Nationality: United Kingdom
Currently based in: London, United Kingdom
Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 16501 ocean miles / 3000 coastal miles
I am easy going, relaxed and fit in well to any crew structure. For the past 10 years I have owned a Sweden 34ft which I share with three friends. Between us we manage all the maintenance and have sailed her in the Solent, across The Channel and Northern France. In 2015 I sailed 4,500 miles from Barcelona, Gibraltar, Las Palmas and cape Verde and then across the Atlantic to St Lucia, I have also sailed in the Caribbean, chartered in the Mediterranean on yachts from 48 - 55ft. I have completed the ARC twice and taken part in the World ARC and sailed from St Lucia across the Pacific to Australia. I have qualified in RYA Sea Survival, RYA / ISAF Offshore Safety, RYA Power Boat 2, RYA Day skipper, ISAF Offshore Safety Certification, VHF licence holder. I am also first aid qualified and intend to take my yacht master. I am happy to undertake any crewing duties from watch keeping, maintenance to cleaning the heads and galley duties. In 2019 and 2023 I crewed on a 56ft Cat on the ARC and several legs of the world ARC. I am interested in sailing generally, please get in touch as it would be great to sail together.
