| Ex RAF professional Navigator and flying instructor, now following my dreams of sailing and photography. Very active and fit 51 years old, completed my RYA Yachtmaster Offshore last year in the UK. Am doing my Yachtmaster Ocean theory next month so looking to gain my Yachtmaster Ocean certification following an Ocean passage. I am also Advanced Powerboat qualified and an advanced diver. I am happy in roles as skipper / 1st mate / watch leader or just joining a crew. I have Skippered yachts up to 50' and crewed on yachts up to 67' around the UK, in the Med and the Caribbean. As well as a love of sailing I am an experienced photographer, videographer and editor. I can take high quality pictures / video (including airborne drone footage whilst under sail) to produce a video montage of a passage. Ultimate sailing aspirations include a desire to sail across the Pacific and potentially do a circumnavigation. I am a strong advocate of safety onboard but definitely also want to have fun and relaxation - explore, dream, discover. | |
